Welcome to another issue of our OXCI newsletter!

Can you believe that we are about to enter the fourth month of 2009 already?

Time has flown by and it seems as though the momentum has remained at a breathtaking pace. So much has happened – we’ve had great prayer meetings, powerful men’s and ladies meetings, many visitors that have come to church on Sundays and an awesome family day!

As we look ahead to the next few months, let’s take on board all that God has been teaching us, and open our hearts to hear from Him. It is only when we are looking to God and trusting in Him that we grow in faith and become the light to others He wants us to be.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.’’

Romans 8:28

I hope that this issue of the newsletter will speak to all of you in a special way and show you what an awesome God we serve!!

Once again, I want to invite you to attend all meetings and get involved in life groups this year. We are stronger when we come together and spend time in God's presence together. And as a bonus we get to know each other better, form lasting relationships and have a great time of fellowship during our times together.

The first few months of 2009 have certainly been like no other we have experienced, they have been filled with God's abundant providence in all situations and we now look ahead to the rest of the year with excitement and anticipation.

Let’s take on the next few months, coming together and knowing that we are God's children and He always provides for our needs.
