The Gateway leadership has been taken over by Brenda since beginning of the year. We have a great team working together to help and guide our children, helping them to get to grips with their own walk with God and grow to become committed adults who are willing and able to follow God.

It is our desire to see Gateway become a way into our community and we trust to see lives changed through the children.

We have three teams working on Sundays with a fourth team to start, hopefully within the next month.

Following is our list of priorities for Gateway.

1. Set up a team rota of children’s workers. This means each team is on duty every three weeks.

2. Ensure continuity of a program of study.

3. Ensure that the teaching of God’s Word is of high priority by using many resources and tools to engage children in a fun and safe learning environment.

4. Ensure that children learn by our example and our lead.

5. That we see not only the children as our future church – they are a vital part of our church today and we need to ensure that they are taught the principles in Scripture that allow them to know Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and that they can also be filled with the Holy Spirit.

6. The children learn to pray for themselves and others and spend time learning His word through Scripture Memory Verses to help them walk in a life of faith in Jesus Christ.

7. To help our children to worship God through prayer, songs, hymns, sharing of testimonies, and participating in various outreach programmes.
