As it goes in any church we have internal ministries that make things happen and through which we hope to make a positive difference in relationships between members in church.

In this issue we want to highlight the Hospitality ministry team. If you would like to get involved with providing this vital service, please see the contact page for details on who to contact.

It is so good to at last see that the "hospitality" team is starting to take shape. We now have four members, Michele, Tracey, Carol Meadows and Priscilla McRitason who listened to God's call to serve in this part of the Body of Christ.

This is a relief, as it means that all of us have a turn to fellowship with others, rather than always watching when the milk runs out or if the children are diving into the food before the adults have a chance to get to the tables.

We work on a rota system and whoever is on duty needs to be at church on a Sunday morning by 9:30 to put out the tablecloths, tea and coffee and get the water going for after the service.

Many of you may not have noticed that we changed the refreshments some time ago. The tea team no longer provide biscuits together with the coffee and tea. Each family is to bring one plate of savoury eats rather than cakes or biscuits on Sundays. This enables us to spend some time together after our meetings, share food together and the children will not get hyper from all the sugar. It will be good to see this time of fellowship improve as folk get together and build relationships.

Don't forget ladies and gents, a helping hand is always welcome, especially after the service when we need to wash and dry dishes and clean the tables.

The Lord bless you as you seek to service Him.

With love in Jesus

Michele
