OXCI Ladies has been meeting regularly since May last year.

A small number of us have been coming together every month since then for a variety of activities including sharing from the word, praying, chatting, picnicking and bowling. The times we have spent together have helped us grow friendships and understand our roles in God and the church better. We have had some good laughs and enjoyed getting to know each other a little better. We have lots planned for this year and although we will be repeating some of the things we did last year, we will also be treading on some new ground.

OXCI Ladies also provides the opportunity for us to share our desires and fears (for us and our families) with each other which in turn strengthens us in the knowledge that we are not alone and that we have God to turn to and good friends to support us in our everyday lives.

I would, in keeping with OXCI’s vision of ‘each one reach one’, like to see us inviting other ladies to our times together and keeping a heart of evangelism in all we do.

I would again like to encourage all the OXCI ladies to take some time out on the first Saturday of each month and join us as we grow, share, chat, pray and laugh together.
